The key fact is that current 65-year-olds now have life expectancies typically 80 or more. It’s now widely understood that investment advisors must address the entirety of financial issues that arise as people age past 65 while they reduce their incomes and rely more on their accumulated assets. We call this process “longevity planning”, and the prime goal is to design and manage investments which likely will enable the client to have a desired lifestyle while not running out of money.

RocketCap services start with a Client Situation Assessment and a Client Risk Assessment to develop a deep understanding of Client characteristics and needs. After these conversations, RocketCap is then prepared to provide a variety of services specifically designed to support Client’s financial goals.
Initial Client Situation Assessment Interview
RocketCap uses the Client Situation Assessment Interview to support suitability of financial advice which may be subsequently given to our client. The Assessment interview is structured to understand client’s personal and financial situations and how they might affect investment decisions.
Client Risk Assessment
RocketCap assesses client’s Personal Investment Risk Profile through a series of questions designed to elicit client’s degree of tolerance for investment risks. Importantly, a major part of this assessment relies on learning what the client actually did in previous risky situations.
Financial Consultations
RocketCap provides advice on various focused current concerns and decisions. We help clarify plans, goals and action requirements for our clients.
Financial Advisory Services
In this service, we interact with client to apply RocketCap ‘s proprietary Cash Flow Projection Model (CFpro) to set financial goals, expose assumptions, and define action requirements. We use CFpro to compute tradeoffs among client-selected parameters.
After thorough analysis, RocketCap provides a written report summarizing results and recommendations.
Discretionary Investment Management
RocketCap selects securities to support our client’s financial goals. We create and maintain an appropriate Portfolio Asset Allocation for client’s securities consistent with client’s Personal Investment Risk Profile and suitability as determined in the Situation Assessment Interview.
