Market Capitalization of Smart Grid Index Firms
We tabulated the market capitalization of the 21 firms in our RocketCap Smart Grid Index. The results are shown in Figure 1:

This graphically emphasizes the reason for not using the common index design with market capitalization: there are many suppliers much bigger than the utilties in market capitalization, and some of the most innovative firms are comparitively negligible in size. But all stock prices individually can affect the RSGSI values.
